The Holtman Building

The Holtman building, East Crossroads, Kansas City

About The Project

Location:
East Crossroads, Kansas City, MO
Status:
In Progress
Estimated Completion:
May 2026

The Holtman is a century-old industrial structure originally built in 1917. Molzer Development is converting this two-story building into a vibrant mixed-use destination, combining living spaces, office space, and an entertainment bar designed to activate the East Crossroads neighborhood.

The building first served as a furnace factory and company headquarters. Over the decades it took on many roles, including a paper company and a rug store, before it was found sitting empty in 2024. Molzer Development is now preserving its industrial character while giving it a new purpose for the next century.
