Kauffman Center for Performing Arts: Nestled within our logo is an homage to our roots in Kansas City—the iconic Kauffman Center for Performing Arts. This landmark not only pays tribute to our founding city but also serves as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage and vibrant community that inspire our work.

Molzer Development is leading the charge on the redevelopment of the Aladdin into a multifamily housing, right in the heart of Kansas City. The transformation of the former 193 room hotel into multifamily apartments will be complete with thoughtfully designed units, beautiful amenity spaces, and an upscale craft cocktail bar on the 16th floor, with immaculate views of Downtown Kansas City.
Preserving history is the number one objective with this project and once complete, both guests and residents will step back into the 1920's. This project is located in the heart of downtown Kansas City and will pair preservation with a modern touch of elegance throughout the building.
The Aladdin Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, was built in 1925 by Jones and W.B. Weaver and won third place in a 1925 Business District League contest for new buildings. The hotel was considered one of the most luxurious at the time and was the city's tallest building. This sixteen-story historic building, brought innovation to the downtown lodging market in the early twentieth century. While downtown Kansas City has evolved with several new highrise developments, the Aladdin still commands an unmatched location and is one of only three hotels physically connected to the Convention Center via an underground walkway.

Zach is the Founder & Principal at Molzer Development, overseeing every project from start, to stabilization and beyond.
Born & raised in Kansas City, Zach’s knowledge of the city, his youthful & innovative approach, coupled with meaningful relationships set him a part and are of great value to any project or partnership.
Prior to starting Molzer Development, Zach oversaw acquisitions and capital raising at a ~$120MM REPE firm. Throughout his tenure, he sourced off-market deals, raised capital from retail investors, family offices and other private equity groups.
Zach has a degree from The University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Business Management. When Zach is not putting together deals, being close to his loved ones is Zach’s highest priority. In his free time, you’ll find Zach rooting for Nebraska Athletics, spending time with his girlfriend Ella, exploring new spots in Kansas City, or on the golf course tightening up his game.
